      POSITION OBJECTIVE:
      To develop and implement effective strategies of fleet management. The position holder is also responsible for determining the feasibility of asset acquisition and presenting supporting arguments to the management. The individual should possess strong leadership and team building traits. Resource planning, multi-tasking and effective utilization of manpower are some of the other desired qualities for the position holder. Sound technical knowledge coupled with familiarity to purchasing processes and flexibility to work long hours is desired. He/she should be a highly result oriented manager.

      1. Strategic Fleet Management
      2. Procurement
      3. Yard and Fleet Maintenance
      4. Manpower Planning and Management
      5. Counseling, Coaching, Mentoring & Contact Person
      6. HSSE Management
      7. Training and Development
      8. Team and Capacity building
      9. Communication & Coordination
      REQUIREMENTS:
    • Minimum of 7 yrs. in transport industry, East Africa experience is value added.
    • Academic Qualification: Automobile engineering, BE(Mechanical)
    • Computer Literacy: ERP, MS Word, Excel, Power point & Internet
    • Others: Experience in managing a team mechanics of 30++
    • Experience in troubleshooting Mercedes Benz
    • Experience in troubleshooting tankers (steel & aluminum), flat bed.
